Dean and Vice-Dean of the Graduate School of Medicine visited University of Massachusetts Medical School

On May 7th, Dean Masanori Kasahara and Vice-Dean Mitsuhiro Yoshioka of the Graduate School of Medicine visited the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS). We were welcomed by Dean Terence R. Flotte and Dr. Katherine Luzuriaga, Vice Provost Clinical and Translational Research. The visit focused on exploring collaborative opportunities for the faculty & student exchange.

Further discussion was held with Dr. Michele P. Pugnaire, Senior Associate Dean for Educational Affairs. Then Dean and Vice-Dean were introduced to iCELS (interprofessional Center for Experiential Learning and Simulation) where Dr. Pugnaire serves as the executive director. iCELS offers state-of-the-art simulation technologies to support training clinical and professional health care workforce.
