We are delighted to announce that we have held the International Hour!

On 18 April 2025, Ms. Lisa Smith presented on topics related about her home country for the 70th International Hour.

She is 6th-year students at University of Auckland in New Zealand and started to take clinical electives at Hokkaido University School of Medicine this April.

The title of the presentation was ” Aotearoa – LAND OF THE WHITE LONG CLOUD.”

   

Medical students and students from other departments came to join the event to get to know her and her culture.

In addition, students from Singapore and Hong Kong joined this meeting, and we could learn the difference in social and medical systems between these countries.

Many thanks to Lisa, we could learn more about New Zealand and enjoyed the time!

 

Before and after the presentation, students had a great time actively interacting and sharing their interests.
