On February 17, Dean Masanori Kasahara welcomed His Excellency Mr. Khaled Omran Sqait Sarhan Alameri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Japan who paid a courtesy visit to the Graduate School of Medicine and School of Medicine.
They discussed the strengthening of relations between Hokkaido University and United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) in regard to education and research.
Last November, Hokkaido University Graduate School of Medicine and School of Medicine concluded the Agreement for International Academic Exchanges with UAEU College of Medicine and Health Sciences. Since last year we have been accepting UAEU students with great pleasure.
