On May 5th & 6th, Dean Masanori Kasahara and Vice-Dean Mitsuhiro Yoshioka of the Graduate School of Medicine visited University of Ottawa and University of Ottawa Heart Institute (OHI).

The purpose of the visit was to explore collaborative opportunities to expand the partnership between two universities for faculty & student exchange, joint degree programmes and academic research.

The University of Ottawa is the largest bilingual (English-French) university in the world, located in the capital of Canada. Its Faculty of Medicine is affiliated with several research institutions including Heart Institute, Canada’s largest and foremost cardiovascular health centre dedicated to treating and preventing heart disease.
