We are delighted to report that we have held the International Hour!

On June 9, 2026, Mr. Arnaud Séchaud presented on topics related about his home country for the 72nd International Hour.

He is a 5th-year student at University of Basel in Switzerland and started to take clinical electives at Hokkaido University School of Medicine this June.

 

The title of the presentation was ” Swiss, but different.”

Medical students and a graduate student from Neurology department came to join the event to get to know him and his culture.

In addition, students from Taiwan, Germany and Australia joined this meeting, and we were able to learn the differences in the cultural practices of those countries.

Many thanks to Arnaud, we learned more about Switzerland and enjoyed the time!

Before and after the presentation, students had a great time actively interacting and sharing their interests.
